The History of My Peanut Butter Pie

It all started in Nashville, I was a striving singer songwriter trying to figure out how to make some extra money so I could continue my career. On a cold Nashville night I got together with a few songwriting friends at a restaurant where we decided to share a dessert. We noticed they didn’t really have that one of a kind dessert that you just had to have. My buddy always had such a craving for peanut butter. We thought that would make an outrageous dessert. So the next night we got together and let our creativity take over. I knew how to make graham cracker crusts from watching my mom as a kid. We then played with the amount of peanut butter, cream cheese, and other ingredients and toped it off with chunks of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

My songwriting buddy knew a manager at a posh restaurant and asked him if he would try our peanut butter pie. At first bite he loved it, and ordered 10 pies a week. We then approached a few more restaurants, and before we knew it, our business was on its’ way. I later decided to move back to the L.A. area after my daughter was born. I put the pie business on the back burner because we discovered my daughter was allergic to all nuts. A friend of mine who was in the music business in L.A. called and asked if I still made those incredible pies he tasted in Nashville. He was having a record release party and wanted to serve my peanut butter pie. I agreed to do it. All who attended the party wanted to know where they could purchase this incredible dessert. So with all this attention, I thought it would be a great idea to re-introduce my pie to everyone.

I am confident that with one bite you’ll be a fan too. I offer my pie in four different and unique sizes. Our 9 inch pie serves 8 – 12 people. I also make a 4 inch deep dish that is large enough to share. There is a 1 inch nugget size that I can’t seem to make enough of. And a two inch, perfect for any occasion. Anytime, day or night, treat yourself and your friends. It also makes a great looking dessert for any dinner party, anniversary, wedding, or special event
Take time for the finer things in life.
